The look of Lebkov
Our shops are designed to feel like a kitchen and living room you can drop into on the way to the train. And it all starts with a man in a bow tie.

Meet Mr. Lebkov
Lebkov is named after Mr. Lebkov, a fictional character who travelled all the way from Eastern Europe to New York and got by selling sandwiches and coffee on every corner. Inspired by the delis and coffee places he loved in New York, London, Melbourne and California, he settled in the Netherlands.
That is why the clocks on the wall in Leiden show Moscow, New York and Leiden. Mr. Lebkov loves specialty coffee and healthy food, or "good food", as he simply puts it.
A new identity in 2019
In 2019 we gave Lebkov a new identity, from the menus and packaging to the tableware and the website. Mr. Lebkov got a bigger role: you will find him on our cups, our signs and in our shops, raising his hat or giving you an OK sign.
Studio Akkerhuis and Woodskin
Since our Zuidas shop opened in 2018, our interiors have been designed by Studio Akkerhuis in Paris, with folding wooden panels by Woodskin from Milan. Black and white tiles, warm wood, round lamps and an open kitchen, so you can see your food being made.
A kitchen and living room
Wallpaper* described the result as "a concrete space that is styled as a domestic kitchen and living room". That is exactly what we hope it feels like: a third place between home and work, with magazines on the table and room to stay a while.
